April 2019 Newsletter



Just a reminder that you can play some additional courses for just $25, cart included.  Courses include Silo Ridge in Bolivar, Hidden Pines and Mules National both in Warrensburg. You MUST contact Rodney Hunter and let him know so he may set up day of play and tee times.


The Raffle has started…Win $300 cash and clubhouse, pool and pickle ball membership valued at $570. Already a CCC member, get the $570 off your 2020 dues.  Drawing will be held after Memorial Day tournament.  Tickets are just $10 each.  Anyone that would like to purchase a ticket ask a member as there are several members that have them for purchase, or if you want to help sell tickets contact Beth Webber.


Senior Men’s Association will meet on Tuesday, April 2nd at 8:00am, and the Ladies Association will be having their kick off breakfast on Saturday, April 6th at 9:00am. Golf will follow weather permitting. Signup sheets are on the bulletin boards in the clubhouse, and/or for any questions contact Ron Rude or Libby Noland.

On Easter Sunday, April 21st, Simply Southern Specialties will be serving Easter Brunch in the dining room.


It’s time to start thinking about what to put in that Easter Basket. The Easter Open Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday April 27th with a 1:00pm tee time, weather permitting. This event is open to the public with details and signup sheet in the clubhouse. So talk to your friends and family!


The Pitch tournament was great fun!  Jim and Karen Munsterman took 1st place.  Annie King and Patty Sutcliffe came in 2nd.  Way to go winners!


On March 22nd, while playing Friday Night Couples, Jack Nigh got a Hole-in-One on number 7.  Congratulations Jack!


On Saturday, April 13th at 4:00pm there will be a Pickle Ball Demonstration.  Come join in and learn how to play.  Pickle Ball has become so popular that our tennis court has been converted to a pickle ball court.  The fee to play is only $120 for a single person or $140 for a family.  However, if you join the country club as a house member, pickle ball is included.  Rackets and balls will be provided.


All schedules for 2019, Men’s Association, Sr. Men’s Association, Ladies Association and all upcoming tournaments have been posted on the webpage.  There are printable schedules at the bottom of the page.
