Well, just so you know I have been elected as President again this year! Thank you to the board members.  As we start the 2020 year, I am anxious to hear from any and all members with new ideas to make this a successful year for Clinton Country Club.  Also, Jack Ehrman was re-elected as Vice President, Steve Hills will continue as Treasurer and Carol Phillips as Secretary.   In addition to the officers, the other board members this year are Sally Rude, Sherry Crites, Kevin Robbins, Tami Mills and Jack Novacek.

At the November 11, 2019 meeting of the Board of Directors a motion was made and approved to change the entire Clubhouse to a NON-SMOKING FACILITY.  The Member votes have been counted and effective January 1, 2020 the Clubhouse will be smoke-free.

Normally, the clubhouse has been closed in January, however, Tina Williams has decided to be open not only on Friday nights, but as long as weather permits, the restaurant/bar will be open on Wednesdays also. It would be advisable to call ahead to verify open hours when weather is questionable.

I would like to remind you that Clinton Country Club has a Ladies Social Luncheon on the fourth Thursday of every month at 11:30am.  There is a hostess assigned to each month to make it special.  All lady members are invited to attend.  If you are interested, please contact Irene Seiler at 660-885-5686 to get more details.

Watch for upcoming information to be posted on the bulletin board and Facebook!!   Sherry Crites plans to continue the tradition to have a “Schnapps Tourney” in January.  Regardless of the weather, snow or sunshine, a four person scramble Par 3 tournament will be planned for 1:00 p.m. at Clinton Country Club.  CCC Member entry fee is $15 and Non-Member is $20. The Course of play will be par 3s “backwards”.  Sign up your team in the pro shop or just sign up and you will be placed on a team. Hope to see everyone there.

The 2020 dues invoices have been sent out.  If there is a problem with your membership classification, or you would like to make changes, please contact Carol Phillips or a board member to get it corrected.  Membership dues are due by January 31st. An option to spread the dues over nine monthly installments is available for all certificate holders, beginning in January and ending on September 30th.  There is a 10% percent interest charge for this option. Payments not received by the 10th of the following month will be subject to a $10 late charge. Cart shed rental is due in full by the end of January.  Monthly club house minimums will begin on February 1st, 2020.  All membership information will be on the webpage.

Also, if you have access to social media check out our Facebook page for upcoming events and club info and/or our webpage.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the club again this year!

Kenny Goth, President
