Finally, July is here and it will be a hot one.  While playing on the course or at the pool, please keep yourself hydrated.  If you are poolside, please notice where the life preserver is located.  It should remain at the assigned location and be available when needed.

 

The following are tournaments and associations schedule for July;

 

The Independence Day Tournament will be Tuesday July 4th at 1:00 p.m.  Sign up sheet is in the pro shop.

 

The Cancer Tournament will be Sunday, July 16th at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and it is open to the public.  Course will be closed for the day.

 

The Ag Scholarship Tournament will be Saturday, July 22nd at 8:30 a.m. and it is open to the public.  Course will be closed for the morning.

 

Friday Night Couples “Special Food & Drink Holes” Scramble will be on July 28th, and it is open to the public.  See signup sheet in the clubhouse to sponsor a hole, and for details.

 

The Two Couple Scramble Tournament will be Saturday, July 29th at 1:00 p.m. and it is open to the public.  Course will be closed for the tournament.

 

On Wednesdays in July, the Ladies Association will play at 9AM and also at 5:30PM.  On July 5th and 19th, the play will on the front 9 holes.  On July 12th and 26th, the play will be the back 9 holes.  On July 8th, an 18 hole free tournament.

 

The Senior Association will play on Tuesday, July 11th the back 9 holes and will play on July 25th the front 9 holes.  July 12th, Seniors will travel to Warrensburg – Mules National.   On July 18th, Bolivar and Shadow Lake Seniors will be playing here.

 

The Men’s Association will play anytime on Thursdays.  On July 6th, the play will be the front 9 holes, skins in your flight.  On June 13th, ‘Get Together’ at 5:30 PM play will be back 9 holes.  Please sign up by 4:00 PM and the cost is $15.  On July 20th, the play will be the front 9 holes, your handicap.  On July 27th, Two Man Scramble, choose your own partner, play will be the back 9 holes.

 

Friday nights at 6:00 PM, couples play the front nine. Drawing for teams will be at 5:45 PM. The front nine will be closed.  If you haven’t played Friday night couples, come out and join us.  It is a lot of fun. 

 

Your handicap is updated on the first day and the fifteenth day of the month.  Please review the entered scores.  If have questions about your handicap, please contact Carol Phillips.

When you see Donnie Williams, say a “That A Boy!” to him.  The other day, Donnie was with his grandson, Brantley, giving him some pointers on how to play golf.  We all need to teach our youth the fine game of golf.
