Well it is officially Fall…Texas Hold ‘Em started October 26th.  There was a great turnout!  Lots of fun, family and friends!

I encourage all members to help welcome, Tina Williams, owner of Simply Southern Specialties, to our club as the new manager of our restaurant and bar. She is open for business and excited to meet and greet all members. She will be presenting a new menu along with some Friday night specials. At this time, she has also extended the restaurant hours during the day for lunch.  Grab a friend and come have lunch.

Tina has told the board that she has already planned a Member’s Appreciation Night on Thursday, December 6th.  She has invited some chefs to the club, and they will setup stations for the members to taste their food.  Mark your calendar.  Sounds like fun.

The holidays are just around the corner.  If you or anyone you know is looking for a place to have a party and/or someone to cater your own personal party talk to Tina Williams.  Her background is in catering and she is looking forward to hearing from you.

We are still looking for a Board Member to serve on the 2019 Board of Directors. As of now, we have two members that have committed to join the board, Sherry Crites and Sally Rude.  If you are willing and would want to as well, please contact a Board member to be considered at the next board meeting.

The Board of Directors would like to say thank you to the following; Jack & Debbie Ehrman, Kevin & Kathy Robbins, Steve & Annie King, Jack & Vicki Nigh, Tony Bracher, Ron Shanks, Ted & Amy Weaver, Jeff Stone, Sherri Crites, Nick Louis, Tom Paul, Kenny Goth, Louie Moreland, Ron Shanks, Ron Cook, Garry Hook, Jim Webb, Jerry Wilson, Donnie Williams, Dean Hargrave, Mike Mitchell, Jeff Ehrman, Richard & Beth Webber, Carol Phillips, Marty Watson and Sally Rude. Your help at the club is appreciated and could not achieve all that we do without the help of our members.

Please note the clubhouse will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so that everyone can spend time with their family.

Hope to see you at the club soon.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Beth Webber, CCC President
