Here we go into the fall and there are a few tournaments left for the year. The following are tournaments and association events that are scheduled for October:

The Ladies Association Banquet is October 4th at 6:00 p.m. Sign-up sheet is available in the pro shop.

The Seniors Invitational Tournament is October 3rd at 9:00 a.m. Course will be closed.

The Clinton Country Club Men’s Chili Bowl is October 8th and the golf course will be closed. The Warrensburg Men’s Chili Bowl is October 15th. Sign-up sheets are available in the pro shop.
The Men’s Association Banquet is October 12th at 7:00 p.m. There is no golf and the sign-up sheet is in the pro shop.
The Pumpkin Open is October 14th at 1:00 p.m. and the golf course will be closed. If the tournament is a rain out on the 14th, it will be on October 21st at 1:00 p.m. The tournament is open to the public, so invite your non-member friends to take part in the fun tournament. Remember, it is all about the pumpkin.

The Men’s Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournament begins October 20th at 6:00 p.m. and will be held every Friday night through March 30, 2018.

The following members have helped out with things that needed to be done around the course and clubhouse. Please give them a ‘thank you’ when you see them. Richard and Beth Webber, Ted Weaver, Mickey and Donnie Powell, Patsy Beaty, Jeff Stone, Susan Parsons, Jack, Jeff and Dalton Ehrman.
On October 23rd at 7:00 p.m., an ‘All Members’ meeting will be held at the clubhouse. All full family, single, junior golf, house and pool members, including all non-certificate members are encouraged to attend this meeting. Next year’s membership dues will be the main topic.

The election of three (3) new Board of Directors should take place this month and I would like nominations to be submitted. Currently, we have one person, Patsy Beaty, tossing her hat in and Kenny Goth stated he will serve again on the board. A few others are thinking about it but have not officially announced it. Please let me know if you would like to serve on the board.

Damon Parsons,

President
